  • Corporate Changes. If our entity undergoes a merger, acquisition, or asset transaction, your personal data might be part of the transferred assets.
  1. Advertisements

Advertising and Google AdMob

The Service uses Google AdMob, a mobile advertising service provided by Google LLC (“Google”), to serve advertisements. To deliver ads, including personalized (interest-based) ads where permitted, AdMob and its ad partners may collect and process certain information from your device, including your advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID or Apple IDFA), IP address, device and diagnostic information, and information about your interactions with ads and the app. This information is used to serve and measure ads, prevent fraud and abuse, and, where you have consented, to personalize the ads you see.

For more information on how Google collects and uses data when you use the Service, see “How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services” at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and Google’s Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings (Android: Settings > Google > Ads; iOS: Settings > Privacy > Tracking/Apple Advertising) or by visiting Google’s Ads Settings at https://adssettings.google.com. Opting out does not stop ads from appearing; it means the ads you see may be less relevant to you.

We use ad mediation to serve advertisements from multiple advertising networks, which may include Unity Ads, in addition to Google AdMob. These networks may collect and process device and advertising information as described above, subject to your consent choices. Such collection and processing is subject to each networks’ privacy policy.

Advertising consent for users in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we (and our advertising partner Google) will ask for your consent before storing information on your device or collecting your personal data for personalized advertising, as required by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the ePrivacy Directive. When you first use the Service, you will be shown a consent message where you can choose to consent, not consent, or manage your advertising preferences on a per-purpose and per-partner basis.

Where you do not consent to personalized advertising, we may still show you non-personalized (contextual) ads, which rely on limited information and are not based on your past behavior.

You can withdraw or change your consent at any time through your device settings and/or within the Service. For more information about the advertising partners that may process your data and the purposes involved, please review the options presented in the consent message.

  1. Lawful Bases for Processing Personal Data

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable privacy laws, we process personal data based on the following lawful grounds:

  • Consent. For personal data collected when you sign up for our mailing list, we rely on your explicit consent. We’ll always ask for your permission before collecting or processing this type of data, and you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time (see “How to Contact Us” below or you can opt out of any email communications by clicking the unsubscribe link in each marketing-related email and in-Service collection on the Service itself).
  • Contractual Obligations. We process specific sets of your data to fulfill our contractual obligations to you. This includes actions like creating and managing your Account on the Service, delivering the Service to you, improving the Service using technical and analytics information, and fulfilling any purchases you’ve made on the Service.
  • Legitimate Interests. For certain data processing activities, we rely on our legitimate business interests. This includes activities like Service improvements, interest-based advertising, marketing efforts, and ensuring a safe user environment.
  • Legal Compliance. There are instances where we’re legally mandated to process your data. This could be due to regulatory requirements, legal requests, or for the prevention of fraud and illegal activities.
  1. How long do we keep your personal data?

We only keep your personal data as long as it’s required to provide you with the Service. Sometimes a longer period might be required by law.

After that, we will delete your personal data within a reasonable time.

Please note that we may retain some data, if necessary to:

  • resolve disputes,
  • enforce our user agreements,
  • follow any technical and legal requirements related to the Service.

“Do Not Track” Signals: Because there’s not yet a consensus on how companies should respond to web browser-based or other “do not track” mechanisms yet, we do not respond to web browser-based do not track signals.
